conentration camp / marriage

DREAM: I was in a concentration camp and I was helping people to escape the enemy.
2nd DREAM: I attended a wedding.
REFLECTION: Believe it or not, these two dreams go together. The escape from the concentration camp is like escaping the “dark night” as St. John of the Cross calls it. But after the dark night, there is light, there is joy, there is spiritual union with our Lord (wedding).
In the first dream, I note that I was helping people to escape the enemy. The only way I know to help is to encourage people to pay attention to how our Lord directs them through dreams. He speaks to each and every one of us in that particular way that each individual needs. All we need to do is learn to listen and be open to learning. He may give us reprimands, but he always gives us encouragement. He gives up glimpses of what is to come. We just have to learn to “read” our dreams as parables, rather than as literal interpretations.
